Yazd is a stronghold of Zoroastrianism, one of the oldest monotheistic religions still in existence.<br \/>\n- Traipse through the wonderful and big old town. All clay buildings ... Great atmosphere in the narrow streets! Also in the dark. Yazd is the &#039;city of wind towers&#039;. Should be found in the photos too. Quasi natural air conditioners.<br \/>\n- Visit the water museum. Everything about Qanats. These are the underground channels for water supply. Contribute to the natural air conditioning.<br \/>\n- live in the middle of the old town in one of the traditional houses with a beautiful courtyard. In our first lodging, Dean and Andi were so irritated by our over-excited, but always embarrassed and friendly host, that they were looking for the hook ? yes, the Iranians can overstrain one.<\/p>\n<p>Last but not least, I have to celebrate my (former) two mireis, who finally endured two weeks with me:<br \/>\nDean, Salzburg and Honorary Indians. Is actually on the journey from Vienna to India. Thanks to him Andi and I now know almost everything about Shiva, the right yoga and why drug smuggling is not worthwhile. Good luck with the Pakistan crossing now!<br \/>\nAndi, lucky Libero of a championship leader team near Weilheim. Convinced city planner and the only one who could tell us herbivores about the quality of the local meat.
