All this is outstanding in the south of Taiwan. Especially Lanyu did it to me, one of the islands of Taiwan (islands of the island).<\/p>\n

The climate: only sweat from sitting around!
\nThat should have been a warning to me before taking this half-day hike down a steep, slippery path to a small lake. After 5 minutes it just flowed down on me. It did not help to do anything.<\/p>\n

It is better to rent a scooter. For me clearly a "holiday thing"! For days (at least three) cruising through the area almost without traffic: keeps cool and is almost as meditative as hiking.<\/p>\n

Otherwise, go boating, eat, see strange things ... things that probably everyone associates me with "holidays".
\nLanyu is scenically the roughest and supposedly most original of all Taiwanese islands. I was told so and I can confirm! A lot of green with lots of blue around it ... a pleasure!<\/p>\n
