departure

One year ago today (25.9.) I boarded the plane to Teheran, which was "only" the first destination of a longer journey.
This little anniversary is a nice occasion to complete the past travel year on and with the blog.

Although I did not want to promise anything, I actually did the writing all year round. It also became a small thread for me and also a great help to sort photos right away ?

I'm still a bit tired of traveling. Gathering new impressions every day and looking for something new - but I will continue to do that ... Now in what many call "everyday life". It certainly remains exciting - that's why this blog post is not "end", but "departure".

A word about my experiences:
As I said ... I was neither looking for "me" or "after enlightenment", so I just enjoyed the year of vacation.
I am very grateful, because of course I also found a lot without a search: exciting people, breathtakingly beautiful places and experiences that will definitely help me on my way.
My account has suffered brutally in one year without any income - yet I would immediately make the same decision again. I could not have invested the money any better.

And more experiences, this time in the practical sense:
This blog had deliberately no "practical" added value (for example, when in XY the buses go to YX), but of course I know quite useful in the things I've done!
So if you have any questions, be it on travel planning (eg what do I take with me and where do I travel), certain travel destinations, long term travel (health insurance and so on) or travel expenses (I have fairly accurate information about spending in each country ... a celebration for statistic-fetishists) - contact me if interested simply, I can say a lot about it!

After the trip is before the trip ...
Even in a year, you can only see a fraction of this enchanting planet, and you can assume that I already have a little list in my head where it could go anywhere! Nepal? Romania? Malawi? Iran part 2? Everything still in it!

At first, however, I am looking forward to seeing you again and immersing myself in "my old life", which will now be something else.

What would a blog post without pictures (and / or video)? Therefore, as a "bouncer" of course: Catcontent !! Cat pictures, cat videos! Yeah! And chronologically there is nothing wrong: in the hostel of my last two nights in Lima I found (in the common room next to the sofa) this enchanting clan: mother (bright) with her five newest (eyes still closed), and obviously best friend (dark) , who also takes care of ... And now all so: niiiiiiedlich!
