Play a dream tournament on a tropical dream island with a dream team ... ✔️
For me it all works, just after, already like a blurry dream ... Maybe that's just the bad PTD (Post Tournament Depression)!
Last year, the tournament had to take place elsewhere after the highly controversial Philippine president ordered the island's full-scale closure for several months. Too blatant were littering and excesses of tourism. Since the "reopening" now stricter rules apply: on the beach there are no flying dealers, barbecue stalls and parties more. So that no alcohol (ie the tournament was directly affected in this regard) ...
But the water is clean again and the unanimous opinion is that the overall measure was sensible.
Even before the tournament "Mama Panda" Lester invited five people from our team to the "Boodle Fight" -food in his parents' house (he comes from the area). At a long table rice and much more are distributed on banana leaves.
"Much more" in the case of us fives was: 5kg squid, 5kg pig and 4 chickens! No joke! I did not make a mistake ... I think 10% of that we could eat!
It was just the prelude to a fantastic and unforgettable time ... But as always it makes no sense to put into words the thrill of a great tournament!

We definitely won what we could win: 8. out of 26 teams is not bad, but very important: the party award went to us!
